Symantec Security Certificates

Digital certificates are used in cyber-security to identify web sites as legitimate and to establish trust between computer systems.  There are multiple companies that have authority to issue these certificates.

There is news that Google may be imposing restrictions in their Chrome browser on the digital certificates issued by Symantec.  Their reason for doing this is to strengthen cyber-security.  Google is claiming that Symantec has been lax, and even bordering on negligent, in issuing these digital certificates.

We have reviewed our digital certificates and we do not have anything issue by Symantec.  If Google does make the move to reject certificates issued by Symantec, it will have no effect on ironsocket.com

Announcing the Start of Beta Testing of the IronSocket Windows Client

We are very pleased to announce that we have begun beta testing our custom IronSocket client for Microsoft Windows systems. We created this client with our customers in mind, making it easier than ever to connect to our VPN network. You can also use it to configure DNS Proxy and to automatically whitelist your IP address.

Initially, participation in the beta testing program is by invitation only.  Over the coming weeks, we will be inviting more and more subscribers to join the beta program and in the very near future, it will be available to all subscribers.
