Symantec Security Certificates

Digital certificates are used in cyber-security to identify web sites as legitimate and to establish trust between computer systems.  There are multiple companies that have authority to issue these certificates.

There is news that Google may be imposing restrictions in their Chrome browser on the digital certificates issued by Symantec.  Their reason for doing this is to strengthen cyber-security.  Google is claiming that Symantec has been lax, and even bordering on negligent, in issuing these digital certificates.

We have reviewed our digital certificates and we do not have anything issue by Symantec.  If Google does make the move to reject certificates issued by Symantec, it will have no effect on ironsocket.com
